Who knew what had started out as idle talk between my wife and I and our son and daughter-in-law would lead to the meeting of great real estate agent? While have dinner at the local Outback, Leon Kirkpatrick overhearing our conversation introduced himself and his family. My wife and I explained that we were joking and had no real intention at the moment of selling our condo and purchasing a second/vacation home, but nonetheless accepted Leon’s business card in the event that our idle talk would become factual conversation. In early November 2019, we contacted Leon and arranged for a formal preliminary meeting to discuss what we were hoping to accomplish and to see how he could be of help. On the onset of that meeting we were felt very confident in our choosing Leon as our agent. We agreed to meet again in late January 2020 to sign the documentation to list the sale of the condo. The condo was listed during the first week of February and went into contract in early June with a scheduled closing date of July 2, 2020. Needing to find another home Leon went full throttle. With his help we were able to find a home and a very competent mortgage broker that secured a very favorable loan rate. We were then introduced to a lender that not only approved the loan but also met our time constraint of closing within 20 days. Finally, we closed on the sale on July 2, 2020 and on the purchase on July 10, 2020. We strongly believe using the services of another agent other than Leon Kirkpatrick would not have produced the same results. Leon is a very personable, informative, dedicated and detailed oriented individual who has the best interest of his clients first and foremost. A great real estate agent and a greater individual.
